The cake that sings to you and yours. This fun cake is known to whistle and sputter when you cook it and sometimes for a bit after you pull it out of the oven. A great bit of fun if you have young ones around.

Ingredients
- 1 C Butter (Room Temperature)
- 1 C Raisins
- 2 C Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Squares Bitter Chocolate, Melted
- 3 Eggs, Separated
- 4 C All-Purpose Flour
- 1 C Strawberry Jam
- 1 C Chopped Pecans
- 1 tsp Cloves (Chopped or Ground is best)
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 C Buttermilk
Instructions
- Beat the egg white until stiffened and set aside
- Cream the butter and brown sugar
- Stir in the egg yolks until well-blended
- Stir in melted chocolate
- Add raisins, cinnamon, cloves, and flour
- Stir until well-blended
- Add nuts and jam
- Continue to stir, stir, stir
- In a separate small bowl, mix baking powder and buttermilk
- Quickly stir this mixture into the cake mixture
- Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites
- Quickly pour the mixture into a greased and floured Bundt pan
- Bake at 350* until the cake stops "singing" or about 45 minutes
