These cookies have a wonderful flavor, and when you eat them warm out of the oven, they are so good. I like to make these around Christmas time as they are an instant hit with my family. They store well, and you can wrap them individually in plastic wrap or put them in a large Tupperware container. These cookies also freeze well if you want to make several batches at one time, cool them, then place them into freezer bags or containers for pull-out-of-the-freezer breakfasts for the rest of the year.
Ingredients
- 1 C brown sugar
- 1 c white sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 C oil
- 2 C all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C oats
- 2 C cornflakes
Instructions
- Cream sugars, vanilla, eggs, and oil
- Add flour, soda, and salt
- Mix well before adding oats and cornflakes
- Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 for 12 minutes
