If you are trying to save money or time, cooking pasta directly in the sauce is a good idea, but does it work? In this video, I will show you how to cook pasta in tomato sauce. If you're going to make a one-pot pasta dish, don't let the noodle choice hold you back most pasta will work for this method. Add your sauce to a pan and set heat to medium-low. Add your noodles and slowly add water to make sure the noodles are soft but not mushy. I did try the spaghetti I had made. It tasted great but wasn't all the way done. If you want to add olive oil to your pasta, add it at the end of the cooking process, just before you are going to plate the pasta and sauce.
